Sports Planning Associates is a new company (founded 2007) that provides sports services and assistance to sports clubs, schools, colleges, sports trusts, sports development teams and wherever there is a need for professional support of this type.

Management Team 

SPA has four Directors who are equally responsible for the management and operation of the business. They would be pleased to speak to you about all or any of your sports and recreational needs. All partners currently have enhanced CRB disclosure clearance.

John Foreman

• HND Business Studies (Finance, Accounting and Law).
• Has 20 years of multi-sport coaching experience.
• Played sport at both County and regional levels.
• Actively involved in youth sport.
• Rugby Coaching National Certificate.
• First Aid Course Instructor.
• ECB Cricket Coaching.
• Disability awareness sports trained.
• Referee qualified and experienced.
• Participated and assisted sports coaching and teaching in Schools.
  
• Organised and assisted Sports Festivals and similar events.
• Worked with governing bodies of sport and their development plans.

Neil Turnnidge

• Professional City financial management experience (20 years plus).
  
• Has played and supported sport at local level for 25 years.
• Level 2 ECB Qualified Cricket Coach.
• Sports Club Chairman experience.
• Sports accounting and financial planning expertise.
• Referee and Umpire experience.
• Project management experience.
• Event management experience.
• Sports tours and hospitality expertise.
• Governing bodies, Schools sports and sports clubs liaison.
  

Les Beven

• Local Government professional sports and leisure for 20 years (10 as Head of Service).
• Strategic planning and operation of sports and leisure services.
  
• Management expertise (financial planning, staffing, marketing, etc).
• Leisure centres management and development experience.
• Community Sports development experience.
• Event planning and management experience.
• Representation on regional, county and local sports groups.
• Local sports player, supporter and committee member.
• Schools/Colleges liaison and sports development experience.
• Expertise in sports funding (including grant applications).

Keith Johnson

• Professional marketing and sales experience.
